The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead IT Systems Analyst to join our Vendor Management Office (VMO) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing software entitlements, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, and driving vendor-initiated audits. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining an effective corporate software licensing position and maximizing the value of our agreements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve best practices for software asset management, automating tasks to improve efficiency and mitigate risks.
  • Establish internal processes to regularly measure and document software license asset usage.
  • Lead complex data analysis and verification projects, ensuring license compliance, and establishing appropriate levels/quantities for renewals.
  • Manage large and complex license audit efforts, ensuring the process aligns with contract rights and best practices.
  • Analyze vendors' software terms and conditions to determine alignment with business and user requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or computer science.
  • 3-5 years of related experience, with a strong background in software asset management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to leadership.
  • Strong ability to use Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Copilot, and Microsoft SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing complex software contracts and licensing for major industry vendors.
  • Prior experience using software management-related tools, such as Flexera Net Management Suite (FNMS) and Flexera AppBroker.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with and influence people from all disciplines.
