Job Description

Magnetic Technologies Corporation seeks a highly skilled Assembly Line Production Technician to join our team.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist in the setup and operation of lathes, mills, and other machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining production efficiencies and ensuring high-quality products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the machine department with making components and verifying dimensions, alignments, and clearances using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Work collaboratively with machinists to set up and operate machinery, including grinders and other equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work center, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
  • Prioritize tasks and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and open communication.
  • Provide on-the-job training and educational assistance to new team members.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to use micrometers, indicators, and calipers.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift materials (up to 70 pounds), and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily works in a production environment with exposure to industrial oils, coolants, solvents, lubricants, adhesive, and other chemicals.
  • Safety precautions are always used.
  • May require occasional repetitive motion.
