Job OverviewThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional to join our team as a Sales Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities of the production staff, setting goals, and providing training and assistance to ensure sales success.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the production staff in goal setting and sales training
- Recruit new producers to the agency
- Communicate expectations to the sales staff and ensure sales goals are achieved
- Provide training and assistance to sales personnel to achieve sales goals
- Track business written and quote premiums on potential new policies when necessary
- Interface with insurance companies and underwriters to know market availability
- Coordinate marketing efforts with Marketing Coordinator and Agency Manager
- Hold the required insurance license and have a minimum of two years personal and commercial lines insurance account management experience, as well as an Associate's Degree or comparable work experience
- Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively secure new business and maintain existing client base
- Leadership, analytical, and decision-making qualities are critical, with the ability to create and maintain an environment where agency and individual goals can be met
- Achieve agency operational goals, increasing capacity and profitability through effective operations
- Possess outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision, sound business judgment, strong decision-making, and superior written and verbal communication skills
- Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a team environment, and demonstrate technology and computer proficiency, including agency management systems
The salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year, offering a competitive compensation package that rewards your hard work and dedication.
