Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the location, providing leadership and support to managers to ensure quality and budget performance.
  • Financial Management: Monitor budget and operating metrics, diagnosing and improving processes, procedures, and performance.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and manage staff, including performance management, counseling, and safety.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Interact with local, city, municipal, and county agencies to ensure customer satisfaction, improve efficiency, renew contracts, and negotiate new contracts.
  • Investigations: Conduct investigations for accidents, incidents, and property damage claims, completing accurate and detailed reports.
  • Equipment Management: Develop and implement programs for optimal equipment utilization, working with the maintenance department to monitor and improve fleet utilization, repair, and maintenance costs.
  • Expense Management: Approve expenses and manage budget for the operations department.
  • Goal Setting: Formulate short- and long-term goals and action plans with the Regional Vice President.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate problem-solving, analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Computer Skills: Be proficient in Windows and Microsoft applications.
  • Physical Demands: Frequently lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 20lbs, occasionally lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50lbs, and rarely lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 75lbs.
  • Working Conditions: Work in areas of dust, odors, mist, gases, and other airborne matter, and be available for 24-hour emergency calls.
