Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Youth Development Program Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the personal, political, educational, and social development of youth aged between eleven (11) and nineteen (19) years old.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage youth programs aimed at addressing inequalities and empowering individuals to act on issues affecting their lives, including health, education, unemployment, and the environment.
  • Collaborate with community partners to develop and deliver program services.
  • Provide guidance and support to youth participants to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local organizations and stakeholders to promote the program and its services.
  • Conduct needs assessments and program evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of the program.
  • Perform all related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years' experience working in a youth program or related field.
  • Passing a Level II background screening from the State of Florida is required.
  • A valid Florida driver's license is required.
  • This position is Service Employee International Union (SEIU) represented.
