Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Patrol the facility grounds on foot and in a vehicle to maintain a secure environment.
  • Monitor access points and ensure they are locked at specified times.
  • Respond to emergencies, such as fires or unauthorized personnel, by contacting the police or fire departments.
  • Provide coverage for other grounds attendants as needed.
  • Complete daily reports and communicate with relief personnel for smooth shift transitions.
  • Assist in the gatehouse as required.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, with bilingual abilities in English and Spanish preferred.
  • At least six months' experience in a security role, preferably with a night shift or day shift assignment.
  • Able to operate a motor vehicle on the property.
  • Strong computer skills and a willingness to learn Carolina Poly procedures.
