Overview:

Carolina Poly, Inc. is seeking a skilled Gate Attendant to ensure the security and integrity of our facility in Chester, SC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Patrol the facility grounds and interior spaces to detect and prevent potential security threats.
  • Ensure access points are locked and secure at designated times.
  • Respond to emergencies, such as fires or unauthorized access, by contacting local authorities as needed.
  • Provide coverage for other grounds attendants as required.
  • Complete daily reports to document activities and incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth shift transitions.
  • Assist with gatehouse operations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, with bilingual abilities in English and Spanish a plus.
  • Previous experience in a security role, preferably with a manufacturing company.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and days, as assigned by management.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to operate a motor vehicle on the property.
  • Aptitude and desire to learn and follow Carolina Poly procedures.
