We are Advanced Surgical Associates, a prestigious oral surgery practice dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding service to our referring doctors. As we continue to grow and serve our communities, we seek a diligent, compassionate, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Surgical Assistant.

This critical role is instrumental in the success of our surgeons, providing top-notch patient care and achieving optimal clinical outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, manual dexterity, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons during procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and completing documentation
  • Support follow-up appointments and consultations
  • Verify patient identity and operative sites
  • Discuss surgical procedures with surgeons, including consent and exposure methods

In addition to these key responsibilities, the Surgical Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Performing preoperative and postoperative duties to facilitate patient care
  • Monitoring patient status intraoperatively
  • Maintaining aseptic technique throughout procedures
  • Determining equipment availability and inspecting sterile and non-sterile supplies

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of one year of related experience (preferably in oral surgery)
  • DAANCE certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Licensed dental assistant (or equivalent)
  • BLS certification (or ability to obtain within one month)

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
