About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Support Staff to join our team at Middlesex Human Service Agency (MHSA). This role is critical in advancing our mission to deliver high-quality person-centered services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and incidents.
  • Conduct regular checks on the facility to ensure resident safety and cleanliness.
  • Complete required documentation in a timely manner, including incident reports.
  • Attend staff meetings as scheduled.
  • Ensure client/resident safety and cleanliness of the House at all times.
  • Remove any obstacles that may hinder access or egress.
  • Adhere to Program policies and protocols in all functions.
  • Support clients with medication administration and urine drug-screening collection processes.
  • Protect client confidentiality at all times.
  • Be present and punctual for assigned shifts.
  • Conduct fire drills using the evacuation plan.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to MHSA's ethical standards.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrated reliable attendance and punctuality for work. Experience working with diverse populations is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.
  • Valid ID required.
  • Reliable personal transportation for work activities required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
