Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure network architectures using Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.
  • Configure and manage security profiles, templates, and policies on Palo Alto Networks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex security issues and support tickets.
  • Collaborate with Tier 2 and above engineers to resolve security challenges.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of enterprise networking, routing protocols, and switch configurations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Specialist in an enterprise multi-location environment.
  • 3+ years of experience managing Palo Alto Network Next Generation Firewalls running PAN-OS 10 or higher.
  • 3+ years of experience administering, configuring templates, and security profiles on Palo Alto Networks Panorama.
  • Familiarity with Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access and SASE products.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking, routing protocols, and switch configurations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Standard security certifications (e.g., Palo Alto, Security+).
  • Working knowledge of support ticket applications (e.g., ServiceNow).

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid opportunity that requires occasional on-site work at office locations, including Sacramento Expo HQ, Oakland, Fresno, and Los Angeles. A private vehicle is required for business use.
