Position Overview:

The Senior Coordinator for Fixed Site Operations is accountable for overseeing all necessary activities to ensure a successful blood collection event. This role guarantees that each event adheres to all regulatory standards while providing exceptional customer service to donors. The coordinator will supervise staff and ensure the efficient operation of the drive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards during collection events.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all donors.
  • Supervise and mentor staff to maintain high performance.
  • Review quality control measures, incident reports, and consent forms to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate effectively with Medical Unit Administrators, donor recruitment staff, and coordinators, taking direction from the Fixed Site Manager.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility, including days, evenings, and weekend rotations.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient phlebotomy skills.
  • Consistent attendance and high performance records.
  • Proven ability to adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Experience with automated collections is preferred; willingness to learn and achieve competency is essential.
  • Prior mentoring experience is advantageous.
