Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Amergis. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students' communication skills, developing treatment plans, and providing speech and language therapy to students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess students' communication skills, including articulation, fluency, voice, expressive and receptive language, and develop recommendations for treatment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide training to parents and students.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, interventions, and educational materials to minimize the adverse impact of communication disorders.
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students, including the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, including progress reports, activity logs, and billing information.
Requirements:
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of assignment.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and other professionals.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to maintain accurate records.
