Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at Chadwick-BaRoss, Inc. As a key member of our shop team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing complex mechanical systems and components of heavy-duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and components of heavy-duty equipment
  • Repair and service heavy-duty equipment, including assembly and disassembly of complex systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty equipment, including parts replacement and removal/installation of major components
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, and possess a basic set of standard and metric mechanics tools
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork for tasks performed, and demonstrate basic computer knowledge and typing skills
  • Attend and complete factory and regional training schools on specific products as required
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Diesel/Hydraulics, or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience in heavy-duty construction or heavy equipment machinery, preferably in a dealership setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced shop environment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to move heavy-duty equipment and work in a variety of environments
