As a Cardiac Technician, you will play a vital role in the Cardiology Diagnostics department, working closely with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality diagnostic services.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate patient flow to obtain requested tracings and vital signs for imaging and non-imaging studies.
- Verify orders, ensure quality assurance of monitoring and ECG/Stress Testing equipment, and maintain patient identification and preparation.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, including education and support.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest equipment and technology, ensuring optimal performance and patient safety.
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.
