Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team at Mr. Appliance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the quality and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install Home Appliances/Equipment: Safely and efficiently install home appliances and equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Accurately Diagnose and Repair Appliances/Equipment: Troubleshoot and repair appliances and equipment in the customer's home, using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve issues.
  • Provide Cost Estimates and Collect Payment: Provide accurate cost estimates for repairs and installations, and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed.
  • Ensure Efficient Use of Materials and Maintain Company Vehicle: Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain company vehicle and equipment properly serviced to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Complete Invoices and Reports: Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with company policies.
  • Perform Other Duties as Needed: Perform other duties as needed, which may include cross-training in related positions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent to demonstrate basic education and skills.
  • Valid Driver's License with Clean Record: Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record to ensure safe and efficient transportation of equipment and personnel.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age to meet minimum age requirements for employment.
  • Proficiency in Tablet-Based Technology: Must be proficient in navigating tablet-based technology to access and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance, and perform strenuous work under varied circumstances.
  • Flexible and Variable Hours: Must be flexible and available to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
