POSITION OVERVIEW

JobRialto is seeking a Lead Business Systems Analyst to enhance our Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) initiatives. This role will report directly to the acting PMO lead within the MMIS framework.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting gap analysis, gathering and documenting both business and technical requirements, and ensuring comprehensive systems documentation throughout the project lifecycle. This includes phases such as discovery, design, development, testing, and implementation of various projects and enhancements to achieve project goals.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the systems development lifecycle and testing methodologies. Preference will be given to individuals with experience in Medicaid systems, testing protocols, and government operations. A solid background in an Information Technology (IT) environment is essential. It is crucial that all work aligns with established operational procedures and best practices.

The primary responsibility of the Analyst will be to assist the Senior PM in overseeing assigned areas of responsibility, ensuring the thorough vetting of documentation, and validating that implemented coding meets requirements while adhering to all relevant Federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate strong business and technical analytical capabilities.

- Lead and engage in collaborative application discovery, design, and testing sessions with stakeholders.

- Conduct and document comprehensive data analysis and gap assessments.

- Develop and implement test strategies, scenarios, and cases based on documented requirements.

- Execute and review test runs, providing sign-off on testing components.

- Document business, functional, and systems requirements while participating in their development and testing.

- Provide oversight during the stabilization phase of migrations, including monitoring system changes and developing strategies for system fixes.

- Communicate updates and modifications to relevant stakeholders and project teams.

- Collaborate with technical and vendor teams to capture, track, and validate requirements, ensuring traceability from requirements to implementation.

- Assist in the development and enhancement of the MMIS portfolio dashboard.

- Exhibit strong proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

- Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, IT, or Healthcare Administration with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in a healthcare administration setting.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to business and systems.

- Some development skills are advantageous.

- Excellent data analysis capabilities.

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.

- Strong follow-through skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Education: Bachelor's Degree
