Job Summary

Pactiv Evergreen is a leading manufacturer and distributor of fresh foodservice and food merchandising products and fresh beverage cartons in North America and certain international markets. We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Process Technician to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Malvern, Arkansas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide statistical analysis and trend analysis of data collected for process and project purposes
  • Calibrate and maintain extrusion equipment, including test setups and repairs
  • Collaborate with engineering on statistical data collection and implementation of new work processes
  • Utilize statistical computer software, including Programmable Logic Controls (PLC), to diagnose and troubleshoot issues
  • Document results, findings, conclusions, and recommendations on projects for engineering leaders
  • Identify and recommend safety, process, and product improvement opportunities
  • Implement new or revised processes, procedures, or operating practices
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
  • Assist in the identification of training needs for production personnel and provide training
  • Maintain and ensure final and intermediate product specifications are correct
  • Work with process/project teams to solve problems and participate in Kaizen events
  • Communicate accomplishments and news to facility personnel
  • Troubleshoot major mechanical and electrical problems
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of extruder-related experience
  • Supervisors/Lead experience
  • Ability to work 7am-3pm Monday-Friday and be on-call
  • Polystyrene foam-related experience a plus
  • Inventory management skills
  • Quality assurance tracking
  • Equipment-related mechanical/electrical process knowledge
