We are currently seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Aides (CNA) to join our team for 12-hour shifts (7 pm - 7 am) at our senior living community. Your role will involve providing essential services and compassionate care to our residents.

Position Overview: The Wellness Associate will report to the Wellness Director and Wellness Manager, delivering personalized care based on each resident's individual service plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
  • Monitor residents' physical and mental health, reporting any changes promptly.
  • Maintain inventory of medical supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Help coordinate shift coverage for unexpected absences.
  • Support the onboarding process for new Wellness Associates.
  • Respond to resident emergencies, providing first aid and arranging medical follow-up.
  • Assist residents in maintaining clean and orderly living spaces.
  • Attend to residents' needs promptly and assist with meal selection and service.
  • Participate in activity programs as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate records and files as per policy.
  • Engage in a minimum of 6 hours of in-service education annually.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all emergency procedures and safety policies.

Communication: Effectively communicate with the Wellness Director and other staff members, reporting any changes in residents' health.

Qualifications:

  • Current State Nurse's Aide registration.
  • Experience and passion for working with seniors.
  • Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 60 pounds.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • In good physical and emotional health, free from communicable diseases.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift as needed.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods.
  • May be required to use assistive devices.

Miscellaneous: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.
