Responsibilities:
Under minimal supervision, the Clinical Nurse II identifies and implements nursing interventions that have less predictable outcomes and evaluates the results of these interventions for a given patient population. This experienced practitioner demonstrates in-depth knowledge of nursing patient care and the ability to practice independently. As a resource person and preceptor, the Clinical Nurse II serves as a valuable asset to the team, providing guidance and support to colleagues.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Current California Registered Nurse license
Six (6) months current medical/surgical nursing in an acute care setting or specialty area experience
Current ACLS certification
Current CPR certification
Preferred
Qualifications:
Other certification as specified by area of practice preferred
