About the Role
At St. John's Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Med/Surg Telemetry team. As a seasoned practitioner, you will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of nursing patient care and the ability to practice independently. Your expertise will serve as a resource for your colleagues, and you will be responsible for identifying and implementing nursing interventions with predictable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Med/Surg Telemetry environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Identify and implement nursing interventions with predictable outcomes
- Serve as a resource and preceptor for new staff members
Qualifications
- California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Two (2) years of current Acute Care Med-Surg or Telemetry experience
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year of Step Down level experience preferred over Telemetry experience
- EKG Basic Arrhythmia and/or ACLS Certification preferred
- BSN preferred
