Job Summary

Capital Caring Health is seeking a skilled Hospice Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care and support to patients and families in the Arlington, VA area.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospice care and be able to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients and families
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Manage symptoms and provide treatment as needed
  • Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and Volunteers as applicable

Requirements:

  • One year of staff nurse experience in a comparable setting/unit
  • Hospice and/or palliative care experience is strongly preferred
  • Licensure from the governing body for practice for the District of Columbia, State of Maryland, and/or the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Healthcare Provider BLS (CPR) certification
