**Job Description:** Medication Administration Specialist
**Estimated Salary:** $45,000 - $60,000 per year
Crossroads Care Center of Kenosha is seeking an experienced and certified medication aide to join our team. As a medication aide, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents.
**Responsibilities:**
- Administer Medications: Follow established protocols and procedures for the administration of medications.
- Monitor Residents: Monitor residents who self-administer medications and report any deviations from the plan of care.
- Maintain Records: Accurately document all medication administrations and any issues that arise during the process.
- Collaborate with Nurses: Work closely with licensed nurses to ensure accurate and timely administration of medications.
**Requirements:**
- Certification: Must be CNA certified and listed on the TMU registry as having completed the Medication Aide program.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field preferred.
