Pharmacy Benefit Representative

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Benefit Representative to join our team at Employee Health Insurance Management Inc. As a key member of our claims processing services, you will support various claim-related functions, including prescription benefits, DMEPOS, and ancillary services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support multiple client programs and handle general client inquiries, service calls, and problem resolution.
  • Effectively communicate with multiple parties to complete tasks from beginning to end.
  • Perform benefit authorizations and modifications as required and approved by clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of communications and activities between EHIM and clients and/or members through EHIM systems and operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-high school education preferred.
  • Minimum two years' experience in a customer service position.
  • Work experience as a pharmacy technician, DMEPOS provider, claims adjuster, or a similar service position in healthcare or injury claim industry is preferred.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, pharmacies, vendors, and plan members.
  • Proficient PC skills in Windows-based applications.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000, depending on location and experience.
