Psychiatric Technician

Adventist HealthCare is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Technician to join our team at The Manor House. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Technician to work on a per diem rotating shift basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field and a strong understanding of psychiatric care principles.
Responsibilities:- Facilitate patient-professional collaboration at all levels of healthcare
- Monitor therapeutic treatment and recognize and value differences in the care team
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols and procedures
- Incorporate clinical guidelines into patient care
- Use information technology to deliver safe and efficient care
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field
- High School Diploma or GED
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AA or BA in sociology or psychology preferred
- Psiychiatric Technician certification preferred
- Crisis Prevention Institute Certification preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant or Geriatric Nursing Assistant Certification strongly preferred
Per diem, as needed for coverage. Morning, evening, overnight 8 hr shift. Sends out calendar a month in advance. 8-20 hrs working for the full week.
