Location: WeClean Hospitality

About the Role:

The Operations Manager - Team Lead is responsible for overseeing our team members and management operations for assigned client properties. This individual will hire and train team members, prepare and review weekly work schedules, make client site visits throughout the assigned areas to oversee cleaning crew members and build a positive working relationship with client management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with staff to ensure operations meet company standards.
  • Interact directly with staff to ensure assignments are completed in a timely manner and manage day-to-day operations.
  • Establish performance goals for employees and provide regular feedback, coaching, and discipline as needed.
  • Provide necessary and ongoing training for all team members.
  • Prepare daily and weekly assignment schedules to ensure client needs and projected staffing needs are met.
  • Assume scheduling responsibility for all assigned client properties, including replacement coverage and call-outs.
  • Confirm and submit weekly staff work hours and assignments to the Director of Finance for accurate payroll processing and client billing.
  • Build and maintain a professional and trustworthy working relationship with team members and clients.
  • Attend daily and weekly client staff meetings.

Additional Requirements and Duties:

  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries to WeClean Hospitality.
  • Assist with identifying and interviewing new staff to build a pipeline of qualified talent.
  • Be flexible to work early days and be on-call (via phone) during the weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a NYS driver license.
  • A personal vehicle is preferred.
  • Must have prior experience managing teams and possess professional and leadership skills.
  • Ability to excel and react positively to demands from clients and supervisors.
  • Organized and detailed orientation.
