Position Overview:
Rambus, a leading provider of chip and silicon intellectual property, is on the lookout for a distinguished Lead Test Engineering Specialist to become a vital part of our Operations team. This role is based in a dynamic environment where innovation thrives, and you will collaborate with some of the most talented engineers and inventors in the industry to create solutions that enhance data speed and security.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive Test strategies and collaborate with design teams to ensure thorough Test coverage.
- Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively engage with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
- Design Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware to support New Product Introductions (NPI), including Load Boards and probe cards.
- Oversee the complete product lifecycle from design and prototyping to high-volume manufacturing and ongoing support.
- Enhance yield, reduce Test duration, and improve multi-site testing efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in Test coverage and Design for Testability (DFT) methodologies such as Scan, ATPG, JTAG, and BIST.
- Experience collaborating with both local and offshore Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of Advantest V93k testing systems.
- Familiarity with Smartest, Redhat, and version control systems like GIT/SVN.
- Experience with DDR, MRDIMM (DB and RCD), and high-speed digital products is preferred.
- Strong ability to learn independently and solve complex problems.
- Comfortable with teamwork, open communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
