This pivotal role involves identifying and attracting exceptional talent to our organization. The selected candidate will engage in comprehensive candidate sourcing, manage recruitment pipelines, and provide full-cycle recruitment support from initial outreach to hiring. Close collaboration with hiring managers and candidates is essential to ensure a smooth recruitment experience.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing:

  • Leverage diverse sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to identify potential candidates.
  • Conduct proactive searches to establish a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  • Screen resumes and applications to evaluate candidate qualifications for specific roles.
  • Perform initial assessments to gauge candidate fit and present shortlisted candidates to hiring managers.

Candidate Pipeline Management:

  • Maintain accurate candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Regularly communicate with candidates to provide updates on their application status.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Assist with follow-up activities, including reference checks and background screenings.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the recruiting team and management.
  • Help draft and post job advertisements on various platforms.
  • Prepare recruitment-related documents, including offer letters and onboarding materials.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of recruitment activities.

Process Improvement:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and desired candidate profiles.
  • Offer insights to enhance recruitment processes and strategies.
  • Assist in developing interview guides and candidate assessment methods.
  • Continuously evaluate recruitment effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Daily Activities:

  • Manage full lifecycle recruiting for both cleared and un-cleared talent.
  • Utilize the ATS to attract and engage candidates effectively.
  • Ensure well-organized documentation within the ATS.
  • Source candidates through various methods, including job boards and referrals.
  • Craft personalized outreach communications to passive candidates.
  • Support proposal and incumbent capture efforts in collaboration with business development teams.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders.
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews to assess cultural fit and technical skills.
  • Coordinate interview logistics and onboarding processes.
  • Negotiate salaries within established guidelines.
  • Promote the IT Concepts brand and culture throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Federal Government contracting.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Technical background in IT, Data Engineering, or Development.
  • Experience with DOD cleared roles and public trust suitability processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Proficient in using ATS and job boards.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a high-performing team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recruiting certifications or training.
  • Experience in talent acquisition for IT and Human Capital roles.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
