Job Title: Assistant General Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager to join our team at Green Thumb Industries INC. As a key member of our dispensary operations team, you will play a critical role in driving results and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations: Manage and oversee the execution of all dispensary operations to ensure compliance with security, inventory, and local and state regulations.
  • Team Management: Motivate team members to effectively execute programs, initiatives, and regionalized instore promotions.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee and manage quality product inventory, financial records, and Seed to Sale compliance.
  • Cash Management: Maintain appropriate cash management, handling protocols and daily reconciliation.
  • Expense Management: Manage effective order & expense management processes aligned with store budgets.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or comparable business experience.
  • Experience: At least three years of managing teams in a retail setting, specifically with POS business operations.
  • Cannabis Experience: Cannabis experience preferred.
  • Inventory Control: Inventory control experience preferred.
  • Availability: Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (i.e., ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends) to meet business needs.
  • Reliability: Must have reliable, responsible and dependable attendance.
  • Age: Must be 21 years or older.
  • Background Check: Must pass any and all required background checks.
  • Driver's License: Must possess valid driver's license or state ID.
  • Knowledge: Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb Industries INC.
  • Cannabis Laws: Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.

  • Time Management: Meet timelines consistently and be able to effectively work under pressure.

  • Technical Skills: Ability to use standard office equipment and computer software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and email.
  • Problem-Solving: Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment, common sense and resourcefulness.
  • Professionalism: Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information and complying with HIPPA requirements.
  • Conflict Resolution: Ability to resolve conflict, handle employee and customer complaints, and settle disputes.
Additional Requirements:
  • Physical Demands: Must have the ability to perform the following tasks for prolonged periods of time (i.e., up to the duration of a workday)
  • Work Environment: Patient and/or customer-facing environment
  • Weather Conditions: Ability to work outdoors in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions
  • Cannabis Exposure: Exposure to cannabis and/or allergens that might be present in an environment where cannabis is present and prevalent
