POSITION SUMMARY
TelevisaUnivision's News Production Operations division is in search of a Technical Director who possesses a strong background in broadcast and media operations to enhance our vibrant team.
- Manage a Sony switcher effectively
- Direct promotional content and briefings
- Apply technical expertise to troubleshoot control room challenges
- Collaborate with producers and production personnel
- Oversee the technical team during shifts
- Coordinate with Engineering for equipment upkeep
- Support morning show production and special initiatives
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree in television production or relevant experience
- At least 2 years of experience as a Technical Director for live broadcasts
- Understanding of control room operations and basic audio, graphics, and server playback
- Experience with Sony Switcher and Sony ELC automation tools
- Expertise in managing video and audio levels
- Proficient in iNEWS, Mira, and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills
- Able to perform under pressure during live events
- Preferred bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Willingness to work various shifts and be on-call as needed
- Highly motivated team player with industry experience
