Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement community education and marketing plans to promote Care Resource's health centers and programs.
- Design and implement special programs focusing on medical patient recruitment and retention.
- Draft and distribute marketing and promotional materials to educate the community about health issues and promote Care Resource as the right place to serve their healthcare needs.
- Participate in health center developmental activities and represent the health center and department in community partnership meetings, workgroups, and events.
- Assist with updates for social media sites and the company website.
- Conduct surveys, internet searches, and market research relevant to healthcare marketing and patient recruitment and retention.
- Promote health prevention services and assist with the recruitment of testing/vaccine sites and clients.
- Develop, update, and maintain outreach presentations and perform outreach activities, including health/community fairs, HIV testing sites, corporate/community presentations.
- Train other staff to conduct outreach activities and conduct educational sessions with target populations using different methodologies as needed.
- Participate in quality assurance (QA) activities for relevant agency programs and obtain data from client encounters for future marketing and evaluation purposes.
- Submit weekly productivity reports regarding presentations, activities, and enrollments.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or healthcare field.
- At least two years of experience working in marketing initiatives for health care organizations, including community education.
- Experience in the promotion of health initiatives to the LGBT community highly preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish/English Creole) highly preferred.
- Proficient computer knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and digital media.
- Good communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Presentation and professional writing skills and excellent public speaking required.
