Nurse Practitioner

At the University of Florida Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse RN will work under the direction of the director/charge nurse to provide patient care, making nursing assessments and diagnoses, formulating care plans, and implementing and evaluating the plan of care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of ED experience or a minimum of 1 full year in the ED with 1 full year in another hospital care area.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, making nursing assessments and diagnoses, formulating care plans, and implementing and evaluating the plan of care.
- Work under the direction of the director/charge nurse to ensure effective patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree or higher degree in nursing.
- Florida Registered Nurse License.
- BLS ACLS PALS NIH.
- A minimum of 2 years of ED experience or a minimum of 1 full year in the ED with 1 full year in another hospital care area.
Acceptable Experience:
- Any critical care nursing or Paramedic experience on a 1:1 basis.
