About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at CVS Health. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Responsibilities- Provide primary and family care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
- Perform routine examinations and provide health counseling to patients.
- Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19 and influenza vaccines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
- Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings and chronic condition management.
- Master's Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
- Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training.
- Ability to speak and write in additional languages, including Spanish, depending on the market.
