CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team in The Villages, FL. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our community.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, FNP position supporting the clinic in The Villages, FL. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing primary and family care to patients of all ages, from infants to geriatric patients. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive comprehensive, evidence-based care.
Responsibilities- Provide primary and family care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
- Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, and TB.
- Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
- Perform administrative duties, including opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, and patient follow-up.
- Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
- Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
- Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Epic experience preferred.
