Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Knowledge Management Expert to join our team at the World Bank Group. As a key member of our Investment and Credit Risk Department, you will play a critical role in providing independent risk-reward assessments for new investment transactions and material portfolio events.

About the Role

The successful candidate will support our expanding suite of knowledge products and learning programs that disseminate credit knowledge to IFC investment staff. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the full program cycle for face-to-face learning programs, including participant management, online learning content enrollment, refining and finalizing the program agenda, coordinating with instructors, managing all logistics, post-program feedback collection, evaluation, and reporting.
  • Upgrading existing learning materials using current best practice instructional design, video technology, and online learning modalities.
  • Organizing content, adapting cases, and applying storytelling, animation, visual communication, and graphic design to knowledge & learning products.
  • Designing new face-to-face and virtual learning programs, including self-paced online learning, short videos, job-aids, resources, etc.
  • Providing online production/moderator support during global dialogues and other virtual events to ensure inclusive, dynamic, and lively events which maximize participant involvement.
  • Evaluating strengths and weaknesses of existing technology usage as a department, managing collaboration spaces in Teams, and leading the management of Credit's online presence (knowledge portal).
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree with minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in instructional design, use of technology in the creation and use for learning and knowledge flow.
  • Demonstrated knowledge & professional application of learning programs and knowledge products, experience in organizing virtual and F2F trainings, managing training programs/conferences/roundtables.
  • Advanced understanding of Co-Pilot and its applications within the WBG license.
  • Applied experience of using technical functionalities of collaboration/meeting platforms, including MS Teams, Zoom, Webex, Wonder, Virtual Campus, activity room management, and effective learning outcome.
  • Experience in designing learning products for both desktop and mobile-device use, such as short notes, job-aids, videos, self-guided e-learning, etc.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $95,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, life and disability insurance, paid leave, parental leave, and reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
