The International Baccalaureate is seeking a highly skilled Global Cybersecurity Expert to join our team. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the security of our information, systems, and applications.

About the Job

This position will assist with the successful implementation of our Information Security strategy by supporting the SOC, rolling out security initiatives across various technical and non-technical domains. You will be responsible for monitoring events and security data, as well as implementing key information security principles, processes, and technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver new tools and processes to ensure cyber protection stays ahead of cyber threats.
  • Monitor, investigate, triage, escalate, treat, and remediate security-related incidents.
  • Drive forward security best practice in areas including access management, application security, infrastructure security, cryptography, cloud computing, DevSecOps, user awareness, business continuity, data protection, and governance.
  • Improve and enhance the cyber security framework based on leading standards like CIS, ISO27001, and NIST frameworks.
  • Assist with compliance programs, including ISO27001, PCI-DSS, GLBA, GDPR, EU Privacy Directives, and US City, State, and Federal laws related to data security and privacy.
  • Maintain excellent business relationships with other departments and IT teams to deliver quality security services and solutions.
  • Identify abnormalities in events and gaps in processes, reporting findings to the Information Security Manager when necessary.
About You
  • You hold a degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • You have extensive experience in cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in incident response and security analysis.
  • You are knowledgeable in key domains within the security field, including threat hunting, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
  • You have experience working in a cybersecurity incident response team and are familiar with IT infrastructure, cloud security, and DevSecOps.
  • You possess strong business analysis skills, a sound understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle, and Agile process knowledge.
  • A recognized professional security certification (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CISA) is desired.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $127,558 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include opportunities for professional growth and development, a comprehensive health insurance package, retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off.
