Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at D-H Lebanon-MHMH. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, staff, facilities, and hospital property.
Key Responsibilities- Patrols and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of all areas of the assigned facility to identify and prevent security/safety concerns.
- Customer Service: Provide information, assistance, and guidance to patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Incident Response: Respond to and investigate security incidents, ensuring all incidents and activities are appropriately documented and recorded.
- Restraint and Escort: Assist nursing units, clinical care areas, and other departments with uncooperative, combative, or violent patients and visitors, using de-escalation techniques and restraints as necessary.
- Patient Watch: Provide patient watch activities to prevent elopement or injury to self or others.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies and code calls, performing CPR and using AEDs as necessary.
- Parking Enforcement: Monitor parking lots for compliance with facility parking regulations, ticketing unauthorized parked cars, and observing and following up on safety hazards.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete all required forms, reports, and documents, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Education: High school graduate required.
- Experience: Two years of related experience preferred, with direct security experience highly preferred.
- Certifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required, as well as Taser, Handcuff, and Pepper Gel certification.
