Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a critical role in driving membership growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the overall success of our club.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Membership Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase membership sales and retention, including conducting tours, providing exceptional customer service, and building relationships with members and potential members.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all members receive a high level of service, including responding to member inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Operations Support: Assist the Club Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the club, including scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Marketing and Events: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies, including social media, email marketing, and events, to drive membership growth and engagement.
  • Team Development: Support the development and growth of our team members, including providing training, coaching, and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the fitness industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members, build relationships, and drive results.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with members, team members, and management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications, including CRM systems and social media platforms.
  • Certifications: CPR/AED certification.
