About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mammographer Technologist to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart Gulf Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mammography services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate mammography equipment and perform various procedures to produce high-quality images.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
  • Explain procedures and educate patients about the importance of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
  • Develop and evaluate images for technical quality, following radiation safety guidelines.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
  • Maintain a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and other areas.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and the Florida Radiologic Technology.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
