Electronics Technician I

Paragon Energy Solutions LLC is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician I to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for building circuit boards and power supplies, as well as performing tests and inspections of various electronic components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform functional testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of complex electronic components
  • Design and implement test setups to meet testing requirements
  • Conduct failure analysis of various components
  • Perform fit, form, and function comparison analysis of replacement components
  • Dedicate and qualify commercially available components for safety-related applications in nuclear utilities
  • Test and troubleshoot using digital oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, wave generators, and other necessary test equipment
  • Perform additional duties and tasks assigned by management
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; Associate degree in electronics preferred
  • 5 years of prior experience in manufacturing testing required (military experience accepted)
  • Able to communicate effectively across all functions of the organization
  • A high attention to detail with good documentation skills and ability to write legibly
  • Proficient in SMT soldering
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Follow safety procedures
  • Has time management, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in basic computer skills (file organization, email, etc.)
  • Proficient math skills
  • Proficiency in using meters, Variacs, power supplies, megger, hi-pot, o-scope, soldering tools, calipers, and tools
