To excel in this role, candidates must effectively fulfill each essential duty. The qualifications listed below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
While executing the responsibilities of this role, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, operate tools or controls, and occasionally sit. Additionally, some facilities may involve multi-level environments requiring stair navigation.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision capabilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety guidelines, operational and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively in front of groups of customers or employees.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED); or one to three months of relevant work experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute detailed but straightforward instructions provided in written or oral form. Capability to address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to perform calculations involving numbers and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Familiarity with basic algebra and geometry concepts is required.
Proficient in inventory management software.
