As a Night Shift Front Desk Associate, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service to members, prospective members, and guests. You will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment that embodies our core values. Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome members and guests as they arrive and depart, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
  • Promote a supportive atmosphere by connecting with members on the fitness floor, offering assistance, and encouraging their fitness journeys while adhering to club policies.
  • Address member concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Answer phone calls in a courteous manner, assisting callers with their questions.
  • Handle membership-related tasks such as sign-ups, updates to contact or billing information, cancellations, and managing unpaid balances.
  • Conduct outreach to prospective members and provide tours to assess their membership needs.
  • Process retail transactions accurately and strive to meet sales objectives.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all exercise equipment and amenities, including communal areas and assigned spaces.
  • Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and organized by following a routine cleaning schedule.
  • Regularly inspect all areas of the facility, promptly addressing any safety or cleanliness issues.
  • Report maintenance and facility concerns, such as broken equipment or plumbing issues.
  • This position operates overnight from Monday to Thursday.

Requirements:

  • Preferred 6-12 months of experience in a customer service role.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Willingness to obtain CPR/AED certification (training provided).
  • Basic proficiency in computer usage.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and move throughout the facility during shifts.
  • Effective communication in person and over the phone.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals during shifts.
  • Regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
  • Ability to bend and twist to complete tasks.
