Medical Assistant OBGYN Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for exams by obtaining and documenting vital signs, chief complaints, and medical histories.

• Perform various clinical tasks, including phlebotomy, specimen collection, and diagnostic testing, under the supervision of a physician.

• Screen and direct patient calls according to established protocols, and contact patients regarding prescriptions and test results as directed by the physician.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in an OBGYN department.

• High school diploma or equivalent, and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.

• Current certification/registration as a Medical Assistant, and BLS certification.
