Night Nurse Position Overview

The Palace Group is seeking a dedicated Night Supervisor to oversee clinical operations during nighttime hours. This role is essential in ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care in our esteemed luxury senior living communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and assess the effectiveness of nursing interventions on resident outcomes.
  • Participate in the recruitment, direction, and assignment of nursing staff.
  • Evaluate nursing personnel performance in alignment with quality assurance standards.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to establish nursing service objectives and policies.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine residents' care needs and plan appropriate interventions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as per established nursing protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records for each resident.
  • Perform daily rounds and take corrective actions as necessary under the guidance of the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year of nursing management experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience in long-term care settings is advantageous.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Florida is required.
  • Strong communication skills in English are essential; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Basic mathematical skills are necessary for this role.
