Role Summary: The EHS Specialist will be instrumental in guiding the facility through the ISO certification process across various sites within a global pharmaceutical manufacturing organization. Key responsibilities include conducting risk management evaluations, facilitating ISO audits and certifications, and developing and maintaining ISO-related documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and enhance the company's ISO 14001, 45001, and 50001 Management Systems to ensure adherence and ongoing improvement.
- Perform risk assessments and implement strategies to manage potential hazards effectively.
- Assist in facility audits and the ISO certification process.
- Review documentation to ensure compliance and create/maintain necessary ISO-related records.
Required Qualifications:
- Background in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) with a focus on ISO standards.
- Comprehensive understanding of ISO workplace safety is essential.
- Familiarity with ISO environmental systems and ISO energy management is advantageous.
- Experience in risk management is required.
- Direct involvement with ISO facility audits and certifications is highly desirable.
