Position Overview

CLIENT PROFILE
The organization you will be joining is a prominent player in the logistics sector, recognized for its commitment to excellence and innovation.

WORK LOCATION
This role is based in a dynamic environment that supports various operational shifts.

WORK SCHEDULE
The position requires flexibility across three shifts (morning, swing, night), with the expectation of rotating through each shift every two months. The specific shift hours are as follows:

  • Morning: 6am-2pm
  • Swing: 2pm-10pm
  • Night: 10pm-6am

Shifts will alternate between weekdays and weekends.

COMPENSATION
The hourly wage ranges from $28 to $32.

CONTRACT DURATION
This is a one-year contract with a strong possibility of extension or transition to a permanent role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage in rotating shifts (Day, Swing, Night).
  • Operate automotive testing engines and vehicles in accordance with established standards.
  • Oversee all operations and implement necessary adjustments to control systems to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Diagnose issues and perform repairs on testing engines and control systems.
  • Ensure a sufficient fuel supply for all engines and vehicles.
  • Demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • 3-5 years of experience with automotive engines or mechanical systems.
  • Experience in a technical environment.
  • General knowledge of engines through recent education or relevant work experience.
  • Ability to monitor and adjust process control systems.
  • Basic mathematical skills (algebra).
  • Strong teamwork capabilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic computer proficiency, including experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Formal education in automotive technology, electronics, or automated control systems.
  • Experience with shift work or non-standard hours is highly desirable.
  • Formal technical training in automotive mechanics/technology (such as ASE Certification).
  • Training in electronic instrumentation.
