Posting InformationPosition Overview:
This is a grant-funded role. The continuation of this position is dependent on the availability of grant funding.
Reports to the Program Director.
The Program Support Specialist is tasked with aiding the Program Director and Coordinator in the recruitment and service delivery for participants in grades 6 through 12 at designated schools.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the recruitment of program participants.
- Support the completion of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and annual Needs Assessments for both new and returning participants.
- Provide information regarding college admissions and financial aid processes. Aid recently graduated seniors in their transition to postsecondary education.
- Assist in documenting services rendered, tracking progress, and reporting outcomes.
- Help conduct pre and post evaluations for participants and their parents/guardians.
- Monitor outcome objectives, gather data, and assist in preparing annual performance reports and other assigned reports.
- Develop and sustain professional outreach networks within the target communities and schools, acting as a liaison and point of contact as necessary.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to foster personal and professional growth.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
It is required to have a valid Texas Driver's License and maintain a good driving record with fewer than ten (10) points deducted for infractions as determined by the employer's driving standards.
