About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Centria Autism. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one developmental and behavioral support to children with autism in their home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized behavioral intervention plans in collaboration with a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Provide one-on-one developmental and behavioral support to children with autism in their home setting
  • Use evidence-based techniques to engage actively with children with physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and carrying children or objects that weigh up to 50 pounds
  • Collect data on target behaviors and communicate with stakeholders
  • Maintain client confidentiality and regularly meet with direct leaders
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test (if not had in the past year)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • A minimum of one year experience working with children ages 0-18 in a daycare or classroom setting
  • A minimum of one year experience working one-on-one with clients in a behavioral health environment
