James Hardie is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating risks associated with our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess business processes and identify potential issues
  • Create reports based on findings and collaborate with departments to ensure controls are operating effectively
  • Provide leadership in planning, developing, and implementing operational risk frameworks and measurement methodologies
  • Conduct regulatory assessments and testing of controls
  • Support Shared Services Risk Committees and meetings
  • Provide training and awareness on key risks and management
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and compliance assessments
  • Identify, review, and make recommendations on key risks and control issues
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Financial Services, IT, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in risk management and compliance
  • Experience in conducting risk management activities for a manufacturing company
  • Must have one or more certifications such as CRISC, ISACA, CISM, COBIT, CISA, ORM, or IRM
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in assessing risks and identifying potential vulnerabilities
  • Ability to review operational procedures, policies, and compliance regulations
  • Strong cross-functional team skills and communication skills
