James Hardie is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating risks associated with our operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess business processes and identify potential issues
- Create reports based on findings and collaborate with departments to ensure controls are operating effectively
- Provide leadership in planning, developing, and implementing operational risk frameworks and measurement methodologies
- Conduct regulatory assessments and testing of controls
- Support Shared Services Risk Committees and meetings
- Provide training and awareness on key risks and management
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and compliance assessments
- Identify, review, and make recommendations on key risks and control issues
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Financial Services, IT, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in risk management and compliance
- Experience in conducting risk management activities for a manufacturing company
- Must have one or more certifications such as CRISC, ISACA, CISM, COBIT, CISA, ORM, or IRM
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in assessing risks and identifying potential vulnerabilities
- Ability to review operational procedures, policies, and compliance regulations
- Strong cross-functional team skills and communication skills
