Clinical Dialysis Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Coordinator to join our Dialysis team at WMCHealth. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing education and training to patients, families, and staff, as well as coordinating patient care and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and staff on End Stage Renal Dialysis (ESRD) and treatment modalities.
- Coordinate patient care and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including DOH, DNV, ESRD Network, CMS, IPRO, and KDOQI.
- Develop and implement educational programs to meet staff educational needs.
- Collaborate with nurse managers and other healthcare providers to evaluate and optimize nursing care.
- Assist with the development and revision of unit policies and procedures.
- Provide research and expertise for Dialysis administrative team decision making.
- Participate in programs or projects that facilitate the attainment of the Dialysis program goals.
Requirements:
- 2 years of acute care dialysis experience required.
- Experience in Nursing Education preferred.
- ASN or completion of accredited Nursing Program required.
- BSN, preferred. Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program, preferred.
- Current NYS RN License.
- BLS Certification.
