LC Industries Job Description

LC Industries is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new customers and expanding the business of our current customer base through sales calls, special programs, and needs fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop new customers for LC Industries Base Supply Centers.
  2. Expand business of current customer base through sales calls, special programs, and needs fulfillment.
  3. Identify new opportunities for increased market share.
  4. Sell LC Industries products to key government direct buyers.
  5. Eliminate non-buying customers through planned sales calls.
  6. Solve customer sales and service issues through direct intervention.
  7. Assist in planning and executing BSC special events such as vendor fairs.
  8. Participate in vendor fairs and other 'on base' promotions.
  9. Build long-term, positive business relationships with key customers.
  10. Identify and respond to new business opportunities.
  11. Prioritize sales and call efforts by customer volume and potential.
  12. Sell e-Commerce sites to federal customers outside the reach of current supply centers.
  13. Keep accurate account records of customers and non-buy customers.

Requirements:
  • High School Graduate, with two years relevant training.
  • Five years experience in sales-related field, preferably within a military or retail environment.
  • Skilled in sales fundamentals, interpersonal relationships, problem-solving, and goal setting.
  • Computer literate and trained in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation fundamentals.

Work Environment:
The Sales Representative will work in a moderate office environment with occasional travel required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and hearing protection may be required depending on the department.
